Our short-legged girl with a heart of gold, better known as Bomba, is hoping to find her forever home. Born in November 2020, Bomba was found on the side of the road together with her sister Bici and one other dog, who was hit by a car and sadly didn’t make it. Bomba lived in a sanctuary run by an incredible rescuer Raisa, before arriving in Edinburgh on our February Happy Van.

Bomba is a sweet, friendly and very loving girl. She is gentle natured and craves human presence, she’s a kind of dog that will look to her human for reassurance and will become their shadow when she’s feeling uneasy. She’s a medium energy, low maintenance pup. She is still adjusting to a completely new reality, so different to her stray life in Romania. She used to live with many cats and dogs at the sanctuary, but is still learning where her boundaries are within a household. Right now she’d do best as an only dog. She is house trained and walks well on a lead already, she’s still getting used to having a harness put on but makes great progress.

Bomba needs a patient, loving family who will help her gain her confidence back. She is neutered, healthy and a real sweetheart, all she needs to thrive is time and space in an accepting, forever home where she can finally relax.

Currently living in Birmingham.
