𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲: Small
𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲𝗱: Amit had been in the shelter a long time, we saw him last summer there too. Last week, his luck changed. With all the cages full already in our car, you all pleaded with us to take as many out as we could, so we started filling the gaps on the floor of the car too. With literally no inch of space left, Nisha offered her lap. No mean feat for this adorable chunky boy, but we squished him in too.
𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝘀𝗵𝘆/𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗱/𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗳𝘂𝗹/𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲/𝗹𝗮𝘇𝘆): Amit is In quarantine still with Melisa, he is the happiest of dogs, loving all humans, ignoring the chickens and mainly enjoying the peace… and the food.
Update October 2025: We spent a week in October with gorgeous boy Amit and he has lost weight from when we rescued him from the public shelter! He is absolutely loving being free all day to trot around on the grass. He gets on brilliantly with all the dogs and he adores people. Amit is a perfect all rounder, and will always have a huge part of our hearts. A calm boy, though not the size of a lap dog, with low to medium energy, would just love to snuggle up to someone by the fire in a home. We are surprised that this one in a million boy hasn’t yet been adopted, maybe he is waiting to choose his very special family.
