During our first visit to Odai public shelter at the start of summer 2015, this is the girl, Libby, who broke our hearts. She reached out her sore, bald paw and held my hand; a moment I shall never forget. Libby, who was born around 2011, was reserved within the hour and taken out by Marius into his care. By the autumn, this girl was totally transformed with vet treatment, good food donated by you all and love. She is the sweetest, most loving girl ever, waiting her turn now to find a family. Seeing the difference that has been made to her life and, following her, so many others from Odai public shelter too, reminds us that “saving lives, one dog at a time” really means so much to each of these dogs.
