About

Founded in 2013, Paws2Rescue is a UK registered charity and every member of our 43-strong team is a volunteer dedicated to relieving the suffering of animals across the world.

Charity overview

For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of animals in need of care and attention and to provide homes or other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such animals. To educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering in particular but not exclusively to dogs in Romania.

Finding loving homes in the UK for neglected dogs is so rewarding, but it’s only a small part of what we do.

Providing neutering services is at the heart of our mission as we work towards our ultimate goal of ensuring every dog is a wanted dog.

We run extensive neuter campaigns. Millions of pups have not been born into misery because we dedicate our time and resources to neutering programmes.

Each year, our vet scholarships enable young people to train in Veterinary Medicine at university in Romania. These student vets participate in our neuter campaigns and in global research projects such as Brucellosis Canis and Leishmania.

Our projects such as our vet clinics, medical centre and sanctuary are part of our goal to leave footprints for the future of all animals in need.
