Hello, my name is

Matilda (Senior)

And I'm looking for my forever home.

Here's what some kind humans wrote about me

Matilda is a medium sized 10 year old dog, born approximately April 2016. She was living a happy life in Ukraine, until the war struck.

Matilda is one of the lucky dogswe have managed to evacuate from the front line at Irina’s shelter Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine to the Sanctuary. They were traumatised from the recent direct shelling, plus a year of close misses and daily gunfire, but they all found themselves again at the sanctuary with Melisa’s help. Now, her adventures has continued, and she’s in foster near Southampton.

Her foster obviously knows her best, so here is what she has to say about Matilda:
“Matilda is totally gorgeous and friendly with everyone though a little shy with new people. She lives for walks and likes to go where there are other dogs to meet. She gets very waggy tailed when we see a dog. She is active all day in and out of the garden but settles well at night. Loves food of course. She is good on the lead but pulls a bit when she’s excited. She will be perfect for someone who likes to walk. She is getting better at getting in the car but sometimes needs a little help, once in she sits watching the world go by. She has always been clean in the house too. People don’t know what they’re missing!”

Living in foster in Southampton, England.
