The conditions were unimaginable, yet Peggy has emerged from that terrible place with the most beautiful spirit

Our team met her in August 2026, and they said: When a stranger approaches, Peggy becomes submissive, rolling onto her back or lowering her front end. She absolutely adores people and welcomes affection from everyone she meets.
And she is just as wonderful with other dogs.
We have spent the last week getting to know Peggy, watching her, playing with her and seeing her personality unfold. And there is no doubt about it, Peggy is a joy. A truly, genuinely lovely dog.
Her soulful eyes seem to reach right into you. There is a softness in her that is incredibly special, especially knowing where she came from.
Peggy is the kind of dog who could fit effortlessly into family life. She is friendly, gentle, sociable and loving, a beautiful all-rounder who simply wants to be close to her people and enjoy the life she was never given before.
After surviving such a horrific start, Peggy deserves nothing less than a home where she will be adored every single day.
She has so much love to give. All she needs now is someone to give her their heart in return.
