Jack was rescued when he was about 6 months old. He was found trapped in a cage in the forest by Melisa who took him home.
When he was around 11 months old he became very sick and had to be taken to the vet clinic in Arad. Thankfully, he recovered but when he returned to Melisa his nature had changed and he no longer wanted any human contact. Melisa still cannot understand how this happened as he had grown up interacting with her and other people.
Jack is now 5 years old and stays happily at the Sanctuary. He is still afraid of people, he will bark and doesn’t let or want anyone to touch him. The exceptions are of course Melisa and then her son, however even that is on his terms and when he wants a fuss or kisses.
