Our team from the UK spent the weekend working with ASPA at a public shelter in Bucharest. Promoting the adoption of stray dogs to locals is vital because the shelters are full. We spent time walking the dogs, grooming with them, and just being with them. These are beautiful dogs and they do not deserve to spend their lives in a 1 metre cage. If they are not adopted, and the shelter is full, then according to the national law of Romania, they will be euthanised. This is why our project this weekend locally out there was a vital part of our support of the ASOA run government shelters.
