A direct shelling of the shelter and our lovely Irina and team are desperate. Dogs dead, seriously injured, missing. Volunteers injured and shaken. 25 enclosures are no more. Our first priority is the emergency vet bills and making safe. Please donate if you can spare any pennies.
This is a huge emergency.
We have worked with Irina and her incredible team since 2022 and we have adopted dogs in the UK from here. We are the lifeline for those still in Zaporizhzhia.

Update
With a huge thank you for your incredible donations, we were able to send £12,000 to Ukraine to help them re-build the damaged enclosures. We have continued to work closely with Irina and her team, and the best news is that over 100 animals from the shelter were evacuated and moved to another shelter in Ukraine. In March we also evacuated 7 injured and traumatised dogs to our sanctuary in Romania, where we can help them to recuperate in a peaceful environment.
