With huge thanks to our patron, the world famous actor, comedian and animal lover, Ricky Gervais, who so generously donated to 11 animal charities following his incredible Armageddon world tour! An example to so many, enabling our dream to take huge steps to become a reality.
Paws2Rescue has used the money to purchase a huge piece of land and property north of Bucharest in Romania. The land has been unused for 6 years.
A 3-5 year project, the property will be used primarily as a veterinary clinic for horses, dogs, cats and small animals,
We have additional plans to include farrier services, training certifications, neutering campaigns, education centre, training centre and much more.
With 2 very large buildings on site there are also many other buildings including two houses, a tractor shed and old stables. We are also blessed with a UNESCO world heritage site on our land, a very deep well which will require specialist renovation.
The land is well connected with a motorway nearby but also has no direct neighbours. It is in a beautiful area surrounded by grass, fields and trees on all 4 sides.

We are currently preparing building plans and phases of work in order of priority. Such as immediate use for neutering and weather proofing before winter. We have a caretaker living on site and the land is already fenced and gated.
There used to be a distillery on the site, which still exists, and we will be looking to see what use can be made of this area,
