This year due to the coronavirus, our team were not able to fly to Romania to hand out your gifts to the children, and we chose to partner a local charity in Romania Fundatia Bucuria Darului.
Harder this year, following social distancing rules, as we worked two at a time to make 26 pallets at our storage unit at Big Yellow Self Storage in Sutton, Surrey.
Your Christmas shoebox donations were shared with very disadvataged children and families across 27 villages in the Brasov region of Romania.
We were also able to arrange for two pallets of shoebox donations to be shared in the village in Moldova that we assist.
Thanks to generous cash donations which totalled £3,000 we were able to feed a huge number of families their Christmas meal. Food that was so desperately needed, and so gratefully received.
