Sue Perkins & Cluj Neuter

On Sunday 21 st October 2018, Sue Perkins and Anna Richardson hosted an evening at Burgh House,
Hamsptead, London in aid of Paws2Rescue. At a sold out evening, the Paws girls gave a passionate
talk about their work in Romania, and showed a film made whilst out there. Leaving many in the
audience wiping tears, everyone donated towards neutering in the break, encouraged by the hostess for the evening Karen Chamberlain. Anna then interviewed Sue about her new book East of Croydon,
and Sue spoke about the animals on her travels. After a wonderful and emotional evening, a total of
£3,600 was raised.

The very next day, thanks to everyone who attended and kindly donated, Paws2Rescue’s 4 th autumn
neuter campaign was launched. Happy Stitches Cluj-Napoca was born, thanks to the kindness of
everyone on the evening.

One neuter costs £20 and Paws2Rescue’s aim is to continue neutering in Cluj until winter comes. No
dog or cat, owned or stray, will be turned away.
